India, Feb. 8 -- Davide Brivio, who previously led Alpine's Formula 1 squad, will be returning to MotoGP as the team head for the brand-new Trackhouse Racing outfit. Even though there were rumours that Brivio could be joining Honda, he has decided to join the new American team instead. After three years at Alpine, where he filled a variety of jobs, Brivio decided to join Trackhouse. While CEO Luca de Meo had Brivio serve as Formula 1 team racing director, he has since spent the past year and a half managing Alpine's young driver programme. He will succeed PJ Rashidi, who was originally named director of the American squad.
