India, April 15 -- German automaker Mercedes-Benz is set to unveil a host of models, including the production-spec EQG at Auto China in Beijing. The SUV was shown as a concept in India last year, featuring a 3D star pattern and an LED strip along with bespoke 22-inch aluminum wheels. It is an all-electric version of the G-Class SUV and has the same boxy style and proportions. However, the improved ladder frame chassis provides greater space for the all-electric motor. It is propelled by four-wheel-mounted motors that can be controlled individually. In concept form, the EQG can travel up to 500 kilometres on a single charge.
