India, April 4 -- As of the end of March 2024, Maruti Suzuki has crossed the cumulative production milestone of 3 crore (30 million) passenger vehicles in India. While the company manufactured over 2.68 crore units at its Haryana-based facilities, the remaining 32 lakh vehicles came from Suzuki Motor Gujarat, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MSIL. It took the company 40 years and 4 months to register this milestone, which is the fastest among Suzuki production bases in Japan. Meanwhile, Suzuki achieved the same in 55 years and 2 months in its home country.
