India, March 3 -- Maruti Suzuki has reported total sales of 1,97,471 units in February 2024, registering a 15 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase over February 2023's sales volume of 1,72,321 units. The company's entry-level models, the Alto and the S-Presso, continued to reel under stress, with sales plunging to 14,782 units compared to 21,875 units sold in February 2023. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki's subcompact cars - Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Ignis, Swift, Tour S, and WagonR - were delivered to 71,627 buyers, registering a 10 per cent YoY decline last month. Last but not least, the midsize Ciaz sedan also remained on a downward path and clocked 481 units.
