India, March 14 -- A defective main stand has led Honda to issue a voluntary recall for the Transalp XL750 in Europe. Notably, the main stand is offered as a component of the official accessory line and is not included in the adventure motorcycle's standard package. The main problem is with the main stand's center spring, which could break if the stand is lifted or lowered. As a result, the adventure motorcycle could fall over while parked, or its main stand may drag across the road while driving. The Japanese carmaker claims that the problem has resulted from inadequate welding.
