India, May 5 -- Ashok Leyland reveals its new low-cost ventilator that is scheduled to go into production later this month.
Since the imposition of the lockdown, Ashok Leyland has carried out numerous CSR activities such as operating free community kitchens, providing gensets, and personal protective equipment as well as carrying out a number of aid activities to provide assistance to people in need such as daily wage workers, migrant workers, the underprivileged and truck drivers. The company was also approached by the Government of India and the Government of Tamil Nadu to work with ventilator manufacturers to improve their output capacity and supply chain.
