India, April 14 -- While Ather has been expanding its business in other cities of India, Bajaj has re-commenced the bookings for its Chetak electric scooter in Pune and Bengaluru. While the company was finding it difficult to meet the supply chain demands, has this downtime made Bajaj lose its ground?
Due to the nationwide pandemic, Bajaj halted the bookings for its only electric scooter. Owing to the difficulties in the supply chain due to nationwide lockdown, the sales of the Bajaj Chetak were paused back in September of 2020. In a recent development, Bajaj has resumed the bookings for Chetak, however, the bookings of the customers who are registered with the company will be prioritized.
