BS-VI upgrade without a diesel option

A crucial change in the 2019 Elantra 's powertrain line-up is the discontinuation of the erstwhile U2 1.6-litre diesel mill. This means the 2019 Elantra is available only with petrol power. However, Hyundai has updated the earlier Nu 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol motor to make it BS-VI compliant.
