Mumbai, Dec. 2 -- Ather Energy will set up a 400,000 sqft electric vehicle manufacturing facility at Hosur in Tamil Nadu. The company has signed an MoU with the state government in this regard. Ather Energy has plans to expand to 30 cities in few years. The new facility will not only cater to the EV manufacturing demand but also for Ather's lithium ion battery manufacturing. More than 4000 employees will be trained in requisite skills in the EV sector as a part of this initiative over the next five years.
