ACT Policing is seeking witnessesand dash-cam footageofdangerous driving incidents in Canberra last week.
On Wednesday morning(28 January 2026),a white Volkswagen Golf with ACT registration AYAC20H wasobservedspeedingonFairbairnAvenue inPialligo.
The driverfailedtostopwhen directed toand drove towardsQueanbeyan, crossing onto the wrong side of the road to avoid police.
The vehicle was laterobservedtravellingback into the ACT on Canberra Avenue. The vehicle was travelling on the wrong side of the road and caused a minor collision with another vehicle before fleeing the area towards Manuka.
