BRISBANE, Queensland, Feb. 7 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:

Police are allowing accredited tradespeople access over the temporary bridge at Ollera Creek for urgent electrical safety checks at flood impacted residences.

Electricians and other tradespeople will need to produce their Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) Licence at the Rollingstone Truck Pads checkpoint, 3 kilometres south of the bridge, to be granted access.

The community is advised not to attend the area unless they are part of the flood response.

The nearby rail bridge is also under police management.
