BRISBANE, Queensland, March 1 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Detectives from the Gateway Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) have charged a man with additional sexual assault offences, following recent information about further incidents since a January 31 appeal.
It will be alleged the 67-year-old man committed a further five offences against three young people known to him aged between 11 and 15 at the time of the offence.
It is further alleged the offences were committed in 2006, 2023 and 2024 during the course of his duties as a basketball coach.
