Belconnen, ACT, July 26 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
Police have arrested and charged two men overnight for drink driving and other road related offences.
At about 12am Saturday 26 July, police were driving along Drakeford Drive in Kambah when they observed a blue coloured Mitsubishi Lancer allegedly speeding at 128km/hr in an 80km/hr speed zone.
Police stopped the vehicle and conducted a roadside breath test on the driver which returned a positive result. He was transported to Tuggeranong Police Stationwhere he returned a breath analysis of 0.117.
The 48-year oldman from Harrison was arrested and charged with speeding and drink driving.
