CANBERRA, ACT, Sept. 9 -- Australian Federal Police issued the following media release:
ASudan-born manhas appeared before the Melbourne Magistrates' Court charged with allegedly failing to comply with his visa-mandated conditions.
The AFP charged the man, 28, on 8 September, 2025, after he was located in Melbourne.
It will be alleged the man breached two of the conditions of his Commonwealth visa by failing to observe his residential curfew obligations andbeing within a certain distance of a school.
The man has been charged with:
* Two counts of failing to comply with a curfew condition, contrary to section 76C(1) of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth);
* One count of failing to comply with a requirement not to go within a certain distance ...
