Queensland Police are appealing for further information as part of ongoing investigations involving a 67-year-old Mango Hill man charged with alleged sexual assault offences.
Operation Xray Modern was established after a report was received by police on January 19.
Detectives from the Gateway Child Protection and Investigation Unit (CPIU) yesterday attended a Mango Hill address where a 67-year-old man was taken into custody.
Police will allege the man utilised his position as a basketball coach to groom a child prior to them turning 16-years-old, and committed offences against them in the years following, between 2013 and 2017.
