Belconnen, ACT, July 21 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
An 18-year-old man will face the Children's Court today following a police investigation in relation to a home invasion in Conder earlier this year.
The man, who was a 17-year-old at the time of the incident and subject to two good behaviour orders, was allegedly part of a group that broke into a residence while armed with weapons and threatened a man and a child who were residing at the house.
Police also allege a neighbour who came to assist was struck with a baseball bat before the group fled the scene in stolen cars.
