BRISBANE, Queensland, Jan. 31 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:

A 17-year-old Vincent boy and a 23-year-old Garbutt man have been charged in relation to multiple alleged break and enter and property offences in Townsville.

It will be alleged some of the offences relate to break and enter crimes at multiple of private homes and businesses, including tobacconist shops and service stations across the city between December 3, 2024, and January 30, 2025.

It will be alleged the teenager was involved in the ramming of a police vehicle in Garbutt on January 22.

It will be further alleged the teenager and man stole a Toyota Landcruiser and Toyota Hilux from a Currajong home on January 29, and the teenager allegedly...
