BRISBANE, Queensland, Feb. 20 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Police have charged four boys following a series of property and stolen vehicle offences across the Rockhampton region earlier this week.
Sometime between midnight and 5am on Sunday, February 16, four teenage boys allegedly broke into a residence on Dean Street, Frenchville, and stole a white MG station wagon.
Around 1.40am on Monday, February 17, police were called to a service station on Albert Street, Rockhampton City, following reports the same group had broken in and stolen lighters and food.
They then left in the stolen MG.
