The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is urging all road users to take extra precautions and drive to local conditions, as Tropical Cyclone Alfred islikely to bring heavy rain and potential flooding to South East Queensland this week.
QPS Road Policing and Regional Support Command Acting Chief Superintendent, Garrath Channells, said motorists must prioritise safety, stay informed, and remember the life-saving message: If it's flooded, forget it.
