Belconnen, ACT, April 23 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an act of vandalism where a hate symbol was placed onto an election corflute sign.
Between 5pm last Wednesday (16 April 2025) and 9am last Thursday (17 April 2025), an election sign on Horse Park Drive in Amaroo was defaced with a hate symbol.
The matter was reported to police and anyone who witnessed suspicious activity along Horse Park Drive at Amaroo between those times is asked to come forward.
ACT Policing reminds the community that interfering or defacing election advertising material is an offence.
