BRISBANE, Queensland, March 4 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Police have charged 41 people with more than 178 offences and allegedly seized more than $40,000 in cash, recovered 2 firearms, seized a quantity of dangerous drugs and located an illicit drug laboratory as part of Operation Quillon last week.
During the multi-agency drug operation led by Gladstone Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) and Biloela CIB, and involving Taskforce Maxima and Australian Border Force, a 26-year-old Biloela man was charged with two counts of trafficking drugs.
The four-day operation was aimed at disrupting and deterring organised criminal activity in the Capricornia district.
