Detectives from the Bayside Criminal Investigation Branch are continuing to appeal for public assistance after a man was charged in relation to online threats and harassment posted on social media last year.
Police will allege the man used various social media services to post repeated messages threatening, intimidating, and harassing a man and his family between June and October 2024. The man was targeted because of his role as the executive of an Australian based online platform.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a Fairfield address on 26 October 2024, where a device was seized, and a 40-year-old Fairfield man was taken into custody....
