1. These proceedings were commenced by summons filed on 12 September 2024. The plaintiff claims an extended supervision order (ESO) in respect of the defendant pursuant to the Crimes (High Risk Offenders) Act 2006 (NSW). An amended summons was filed in court on 4 March 2025, incorporating the final form of proposed conditions of supervision pursuant to s 11 of the Act. The duration of the order sought is two years. That would be a renewal of extended supervision under the Act.
