This is an appeal from a decision of the of the Tribunal in the Consumer and Commercial Division which dismissed the appellant's claim for damages on the ground that the Tribunal had no jurisdiction to determine the claim because the proceedings had been commenced outside the three-year time limit for a consumer claim set out in s 79L of the Fair Trading Act 1987 (NSW).
