Australia, May 22 -- New South Wales Land and Environment Court issued text of the following judgement on April 22:
1. The Health Care Complaints Commission (the HCCC) filed an Application for the cancellation of Dr Balasingham's registration as a medical practitioner.
2. An Order was made for that Application to be heard in two stages.
3. The first stage of the hearing, which was to determine whether Dr Balasingham was guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct and professional misconduct, as asserted by the HCCC, was conducted in 2023.
4. We found, on 28 November 2023, that Dr Balasingham was guilty of both unsatisfactory professional conduct and professional misconduct.
