CANBERRA, ACT, April 3 -- Murray-Darling Basin Authority issued the following news release:

Landholders and river users, including pumpers, on the Mitta Mitta River are advised to take into account the forecast releases of water from Dartmouth Dam and make any necessary adjustment to their river activities.

Transfers from Dartmouth Dam to Hume Dam are expected to continue throughout April and the coming months if conditions remain dry.

Releases from Dartmouth (measured at Coleman's gauge) are expected to continue approximately 9,500 ML/day until 6th April before reducing to ~5,000 ML/day on 17 April. MDBA will provide a further update on flows in early May.
