Belconnen, ACT, March 24 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A 38-year-old man who allegedly committed family violence offences last week has been extradited to the ACT to face court.
On Tuesday evening (18 March 2025), police allege the man assaulted his partner at her residence in Narrabundah, striking her in the face repeatedly.
The next morning (Wednesday, 19 March 2025), the woman called for help after the man threatened her. Police allege he grabbed her phone and assaulted her, striking her in the head eight times.
A short time later police attended the residence, and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
