Belconnen, ACT, Jan. 9 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
A45-year-old man has been charged with stalkinghis ex-partnerand breaching a family violence order.
Police will allege the man breached a family violence order prohibiting him from contacting his ex-partner by sending her multiple emailsbetween December and January.
The incidents were reported to police andon Wednesday (7 January 2026), the manwaslocatedina carpark in Gungahlin.
When policeattemptedto arrest the man, he allegedly ran from the officers before being apprehendeda short distance away.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Friday, 9 January 2026), charged with nine counts of contravening a family violence order, aggravated stalking,attempting...
