Dial-A-Dump (EC) Pty Ltd Pleads Guilty to Emitting an Offensive Odour
The defendant, Dial-A-Dump (EC) Pty Ltd ("DADEC"), has pleaded guilty to an offence against s 129(1) of the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 ("POEOA"), in that it was the occupier of the premises at which scheduled activities were carried out under the authority conferred by a licence and it caused the emission of offensive odour from the premises to which the licence applied between 26 March and 16 June 2021 ("the charge period").
Over the course of the charge period DADEC caused the emission of offensive odour associated with landfill gas ("LFG") ...
