BRISBANE, Queensland, March 24 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Run Army is returning to Brisbane and Townsville this March and April to celebrate health and wellbeing, while raising much needed funds for Emergency Services.
The annual fundraising event brings community members together to participate in either a 5km or 10km fun run or walk, with participants electing an emergency services charity to raise money for.
For Queensland Police Service (QPS) members, it's an opportunity to fundraise for the Queensland Police Legacy (QPL) which supports the families of officers who've lost their lives on duty or due to illness.
