Belconnen, ACT, March 28 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing is responding to two collisions on Canberra Avenue this morning.
The first incident involved a green Holden Commodore station wagon colliding with two pedestrians near St Edmund's College. They were taken to hospital in a serious condition.
The same vehicle hascontinued along Canberra Avenuebefore colliding with other vehicles and coming to a stop near Manuka shops.
The driver of the Holden Commodore is in hospital under police guard.
Sections of Canberra Avenue near Manuka and Griffith will remain closed until further notice.
