BRISBANE, Queensland, Feb. 17 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Police are reminding residents to be aware of persons posing as tradesmen offering to conduct work on their houses.
This comes following two incidents in the Roma area on Thursday February 13.
In Amby, west of Roma a woman has reported two men attending her house, and painting her roof without consent, then advising payment was due the following day.
The same day a resident from Mount Abundance reported two men attended in a white SUV claiming they were in the area to paint houses.
