BRISBANE, Queensland, March 10 -- Queensland Police Service issued the following media release:
Police alongside the Rural Fire Service Queensland and community members have rescued a woman from a vehicle stranded in floodwaters at Glenore Grove this morning, March 10.
Emergency services were called around 8.30am after receiving reports a vehicle was trapped against trees after it had been swept into floodwater along Forrest Hill-Fernvale Road.
It is alleged the woman was attempting to drive through floodwaters on Blind Gully bridge when the incident occurred.
