Belconnen, ACT, Sept. 15 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
Five drivers were caught for impaired driving and speeding offences last night in separate incidents across Canberra.
About 5:15pm yesterday (Sunday, 14 September 2025), police detected a vehicle travelling in excess of the speed limit on William Hovell Drive, Cook. Police subjected the 38-year-old female driver to a roadside drug test which returned a positive indication to methamphetamine. The driver will face court at a later date for exceeding the speed limit and drug driving.
About 5:20pm yesterday, police conducted a traffic stop on Starke Street, Higgins and subjected a 26-year-old male driver to a roadside alcohol screening test. He returned a reading of...
