Belconnen, ACT, April 14 -- ACT Policing issued the following media release:
ACT Policing officers from Woden Police Station located explosives, drugs and ammunition during a vehicle search in Wanniassa yesterday.
About 4pm yesterday (Sunday, 13 April 2025), police located a White Mazda 2 in a carpark at the Erindale shops and later last night, and a search warrant was executed on it.
During the search a number of items were located in the vehicle including:
* Approximately 260 grams of methamphetamine - equating to approximately 2600 'hits' of the drug* A small amount of cocaine* Two shotgun cartridges* Ten .22 rounds of ammunition* A machete* A taser* Approximately 300grams of ammonium nitrate in a pipe - (explosives).
