CANBERRA, ACT, April 30 -- Australian Federal Police issued the following media release:
A Perth man appeared in Perth Magistrates Court today (30 April, 2025) charged for trespassing on Commonwealth land, after he was found on the tarmac at Perth Airport.
The man, 33, pleaded guilty to the offence and the matter was adjourned to 25 May, 2025, for sentencing.
The AFP charged the man last night (29 April, 2025) after he was intercepted by airline workers on the tarmac about 9.30pm.
The man had been in bushland surrounding the airport, before managing to enter the airport grounds and reach the tarmac. AFP officers attended and arrested the man.
