DOOMDOOMA, April 12 -- One Rupeswar Moran (67) of Horumesai village was killed in a road mishap that took place at Sengeli under Kakopothar Police Station on Sunday evening.
The bicycle that the deceased was riding was hit by a Maruti 800 car (AS 23G 5429) from behind. Seriously injured, Moran was rushed to the Doomdooma 30-bed hospital where the doctors declared him brought dead.
Two persons were seriously injured in another road mishap that took place at Lajum village under Kakopothar Police Station around 8 pm on Sunday.
