DIBRUGARH, March 2 -- A considerable section of the voters in 115 Moran LAC, who claim to be supporters of the BJP, have demanded that the BJP leadership deny ticket to the incumbent MLA Chakradhar Gogoi.
Party workers have been sporadically coming out in protest against the incumbent MLA Chakradhar Gogoi in the constituency since the past few days, terming him incompetent while also bringing allegations of nepotism and corruption.
One such protest was organized in the constituency's Rangsali Gaon Panchayat, where a section of party workers staged a demonstration on the road and later addressed newsmen.
