PATACHARKUCHI, March 2 -- The 511th Chilarai Divas was observed at Daisingri of Bajali district under the aegis of Koch Rajbangshi Sangramee Manch on February 27, during which the families of the martyrs of the freedom struggle were accorded a warm felicitation. The open meeting was chaired by Trailokya Das, president of the celebration committee. Kushal Roy, president of the Sangramee Manch, anchored the programme. Sarbhog MLA Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Rector of Anundoram Borooah Academy Dr Ranjit Kumar Deka, ex-MLA Manoranjan Das, Asam Sahitya Sabha ex-president Paramananda Rajbongshi, BJP spokesperson Phani Pathak, singer Kalpana Patowary, Mrigen Bhagabati, Dharmeswar Roy and others were present in the programme.
