GUWAHATI, Oct. 4 -- Karmashree Hiteswar Saikia College here organised the All Assam Inter-College Jayanta Sangeet Competition on Thursday in the college auditorium, stated a press release today.
The event's ceremonial lamp was lit by Dr Sikhamoni Konwar, the principal of the College, while the competition was inaugurated by Preetom Saikia, Commissioner Secretary, Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Assam.
Students from altogether 32 different colleges of the State participated in the competition which was judged by Manisha Hazarika, JP Das and Arup Dutta.
