DHUBRI, March 22 -- With an aim to spread awareness about the glorious past of the historic Dhubri town, many school students, individuals and senior citizens participated in a 'Heritage Walk' in the town recently.

The programme, organised by Sahapedia, India Heritage Walks in collaboration with the District Museum Dhubri, started from the Victoria Statue Park at Tetoltola, a marble statue measuring 20 feet in height installed by the British rulers in 1905 against the backdrop of the Bengal Partition, and covered 15 different destinations of historical importance within a radius of 2 kilometres.
