NAGAON, Jan. 25 -- The opposition Congress sounded the poll bugle at an 'Ekta Samaroh' organised by the Youth Congress at the Ambagan Jagaddhatri Pujabari field under Samaguri constituency on Sunday, where several national as well as State heavyweight leaders from all wings of the party participated.
Inaugurating the meet, APCC chief and Rajya Sabha MP Ripun Bora, slamming the recent visits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah to the State, said it is ironical that both the saffron party leaders could remember the people of Assam just ahead of the ensuing election, and not during the crucial time of flood, erosion and the pandemic.
