SILCHAR, Sept. 24 -- As part of Swachetna campaign, Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli flagged off an awareness rally on Wednesday from the Office of Joint Director of Health Services in the presence of Joint Director of Health Services Dr SJ Das and other officials of the Health department. ASHAs of Urban Centre and nursing staff of SM Dev Civil Hospital participated in the rally.
Speaking on the occasion, Jalli appreciated the efforts of ASHAs and other frontline workers to contain the COVID-19 disease. 'In spite of so many hardships, the frontline workers are never found to be reluctant to work extra mile, which has resulted in minimising COVID-19 deaths,' Jalli said.
