NAGAON, Sept. 24 -- The district unit of All Assam students' Union (AASU) staged a strong protest in front of the office of Deputy Commissioner, Nagaon today against the recent incident of question paper leak for recruitment of Sub Inspectors in Assam Police. The protesters also burned the effigy of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal.
Around 100 agitators from the student organization took part in the protest and sought a neutral probe into the entire episode of question paper leak. The organization also demanded strict action as well as exemplary punishment against those who were involved in the incident.
