Colombo, Dec. 2 -- The government yesterday said that there was an urgent need to interview a local employee of the Swiss Embassy in Colombo after investigations had revealed that the claims made by Swiss Ambassador Hanspeter Mock regarding alleged abduction of the worker were not true

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) today said the sequence of events and timeline of the alleged Swiss Embassy employee incident did not in any way correspond with the actual movements of the alleged victim on that date.
