Colombo, June 19 -- It has been announced that U.S. Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo Unable to Visit Sri Lanka During Upcoming Travel to Region.
Earlier it was announced that the United States' Secretary of State Michael R.Pompeo is due to visit Sri Lanka in his forthcoming swing through Asia later this month. Pompeo is scheduled to visit India, Sri Lanka, Japan and South Korea during his Asian tour from June 24 to 30, US State Department Spokesperson Morgan Ortagus told a press briefing in Washington, DC. on Monday.
Now it has been announced that he will not be visiting Sri Lanka during his forthcoming travel to a selected Asian countries.
