M. G. Chakrapani's great granddaughter : Kaavya excels in her Arangetram
Chennai, March 16 -- From the close family of the former Chief Minister M G Ramachandran, a young dancing artiste made her bharathanatyam debut in Chennai last month. It was a great treat to the packed audience at the Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan auditorium to watch the ten-year old Kum. K. Kaavya at her Arangetram. Kaavya in Sanskrit and Tamil means 'poetry in motion'; she did express it, danced her way into everybody's heart.
Kaavya is the great granddaughter of M G Chakrapani, elder brother of MGR, who was also a veteran actor in his times. Captivating abhinaya, scintillating footwork, endless energy marked Kaavya's arangetram. She has a charming presence.
