New Delhi, Dec. 27 -- India ended a 12-year ICC Champions Trophy drought by winning the 2025 title in Dubai, following their refusal to travel to Pakistan, a year after breaking their long ICC title wait with the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph in the USA and the Caribbean.

India last won the ICC Champions Trophy in 2013 in England under the leadership of MS Dhoni. They reached the final again in 2017 but lost to arch-rivals Pakistan at The Oval in London.
