Navi Mumbai, Jan. 10 -- The second Women's Premier League (WPL) 2026 match between Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz on Saturday has set a new six-hitting record for any women's T20 match, according to ESPNcricinfo.
The WPL 2026 clash at the DY Patil Stadium between Gujarat and Warriorz saw 21 sixes, which is the most sixes for any women's T20 match.
The previous highest was 19 sixes during the Sydney Sixers vs Melbourne Stars in the 2017-18 Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) tournament, and bettering 19 sixes hit in the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Delhi Capitals match at Bengaluru in the WPL 2024 season.
