New Delhi, Aug. 29 -- Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) President Devendra Jhajharia on Friday confirmed that the newly inaugrated Mondotrack at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium will host the upcoming World Para Athletics Championships, which will take place in New Delhi from September 27 to October 5.

Expressing his views to the media, Jhajharia told the media, "I express my best wishes for everyone on the occasion of National Sports Day... Today, the Mondotrack was inaugurated at the JLN Stadium... On the same track, the World Para Athletics Championships is also going to be held. This is going to be the biggest competition in the country. In this event, a total of 107 countries will participate, with around 2,500 players competing...
